Stopped in with a couple friends last night and we were immediately greeted by the bartender. There were not many people here when we first walked in, but it filled up as the night went on. I liked the light or lack of lighting. It was darker, but perfect for a cocktail and conversation. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. I had a few Dark Side cocktails and one my friends ordered a few Old Fashion's and my other friend had a drink called The Hot One. I loved that they had something other than sports on the TV's and chill vibe music playing.
Great cocktails and overall selection of drinks. In addition to a great seating area at the bar and tables inside, there is a lovely outdoor patio with tables and a pleasant environment. A larger group of us went here to celebrate our friend’s birthday and we had an excellent time. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would gladly go back here.
What a fabulous find! Beautiful ambience; dark, super cool in a great neighborhood .. The bartender was so nice and she made an amazing drink! We had gone for a run and stopped in for a post-run drink .. The only thing that was difficult, is that the drink list is only on the blackboard and due to glare I couldn't read it well ..
My wife and I absolutely love coming to The Royal. The staff is friendly and they make the best cocktails in Boise! It’s a great neighborhood bar with fun bar games and a great vibe! They also have a huge patio outside for when the weather is warm. 10/10 recommend!
The dirty martini was superb! The old fashion not so much... use a king (square) block of ice please... the small cubes ruin it. Please and Thank you.. but super nice people and bartenders... cool vibe.
Great place. Small patio out back with a permanent food truck called Archie's Place. A pool table and shuffleboard table in the back. Full bar and 10 taps. 21 and over only. Very busy on a Saturday evening.
Nice neighborhood bar that has plenty of specialized drinks done their way at a reasonable price. I have gone here a few times mainly just to unwind and it has never disappointed.
Great cocktails at the Royal. Distinct and sophisticated flavors. The Witching Hour is a favorite. They will even make a mocktail upon request. There is pool and a nice patio. Bartenders are knowledgeable and fast.
